The advantages of the introduction of Knowledge for development in the complex development sector are already well-known and well-stated. It is, nevertheless, paradoxical that although the development community has embraced with satisfaction most of the information technologies allowing the improvement in the delivery of some development interventions, it seems  like  this has not been mentioned when talking about  Framework Guide  Performance Indicators in Knowledge  Management for Development.

Taking the above issue of concern, my work proposes an information model for knowledge for Development based upon the use of key performance indicators (KPIs) in development sector.

Based upon the use of framework methodological guide about knowledge for management indicators and quality assurance techniques in Knowledge for development this blog is proposing key performance indicators centered approach that drives information flow at all levels of the day-to-day process of delivering effective and managed development intervention, toward information assessment and knowledge for development discovery.

The proposed key performance indicators (KPIs) are forming a complete set of metrics that enable the assessment of the performance management and the evaluation of the delivery of any prepared development interventions.

A successful Knowledge Package for Development should be carefully targeted towards its audience, with the right mixture of delivery, simplicity, elegance and sustainable communities’ development innovations through the right knowledge formats and the right socio cultural infrastructures.

Setting suitable Key Performance Indicators for measuring Knowledge Package for Development through participative and collaborative approaches including the target community is probably the best strategies of determining and delivering the right knowledge package format and its right socio cultural infrastructures.

This proposal of an information model for knowledge for Development based upon the use of key performance indicators (KPIs) in development sector can be found in the table below

Conclusion

Using key performance indicators to measure the performance knowledge package helps to identify potential problems. When measuring knowledge package activities it is important to take action based on the local knowledge resources and potential we are identifying and gaining.

We need a knowledge package scope to ensure that we take action based on what our key performance indicators are telling us. We also need to continually assess the usefulness of the key performance indicators we are using as the knowledge package may be updated on a regular basis. The key performance indicators may vary from development area to developement area. If a key performance indicator is no longer useful we must stop use this one.

No knowledge package business case remains static. It may change with the time and this with the development of the target community. So the knowledge consumer environment is always changing and we need to change the knowledge package with its actual develpment environmemt. The use of key performance indicators helps us to manage correct this change and to stay efficiency in front.

Setting suitable Key Performance Indicators for measuring knowledge package for development must be driven by the target community. Collaboration and participation are probably the best processes to use. And Assessing regular feedback from the target community is probably the best way of determining whether the Knowledge package stays useful or not.

World Sustainable Building: Knowledge for Development Without Borders, an alternative of a non-profit organization that supports Development Institutions to translate development´s researches and decisions into the right local practices, to track and monitor on real time the world´s most complex development challenges.

There are still many things need to be done, whatever the goals (MDGs Vs. SDGs) are, they require a good social support mechanism to support them. The government may could be changed, but only with good social support mechanism, it is possible to have a sustainable development of our society.

Whatever the sustainable development politics and strategies would be  or  would be adopted, we have reached a sustainable development era where there is a need of suitable social mechanism support worldwide to connect a global audience to necessary resources while providing a system to translate these goals, data, information and knowledge into sustainable local best practices.

So we are calling on interested parties from all backgrounds who can support, bring creativity, dedication, experience and talent to this program, to assist the hard work of development organizations, local governments, donors, foundations,  ONGs, private sectors, for the worth management of, and worth investment in the social, economic  and environmental well-being of our lovely planet.  Please we are moving to a new platform visit us on: http://www.knowledgefordevelopmentwithoutborders.org

The world is interconnected. And we agreed all that if something is wrong away over there (poorest of poor people have trouble meeting basic needs) it will affect others parts of the world and societies (example of the Lampedusa disaster - example of  the Spain´s  illegal Immigration etc).

The challenge is  a group of populations with an empty Stomach, a group of populations in "survival mode", a group of populations with false information, and a group of individuals who focused their interests only in "money" and "greedy business" could not take care right about the United Nation's Millennium Development Goals, the worth management of the social and environmental well-being of our lovely planet.

It will be difficult to them to care right about the Sustainable development goals (SDGs) through the promotion of simple and good practices of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) to reach sustainable, worth-living integrated development. On the papers and in the marketing this would work fine. But to translate these Goals into the local right  practices would be difficult.

The facts are showing that the access to the data, information, knowledge and development resources even technology and money are not enough to guarantee Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as long as there is no suitable social mechanism into place to support worldwide the target audiences to translate these Goals, data, information and knowledge into sustainable local best practices.  The United Nation's Millennium Development Goals are still having resistance because of the lack of the right  Social Services Support worldwide.

We need a social mechanism support that informs, supports, engages, and mobilizes poor, rich, business, religion, literate, illiterate, local people and local governments to put right or to translate the SDGs through the MDGs practices into the right local practices worldwide. We are working hard to design this social mechanism support worldwide (The Global Social Services Support to SDGs).

The platform of Knowledge for development without borders:

24x7 social Services support for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through the promotion of simple and good practices of the Millennium Development Goals(MDGs) to reach sustainable, worth-living integrated development. Data, information and knowledge acquisition and dissemination of decision analytics for Development Organizations, NGOs, Foundations, Governments Agencies, Donors, Charity, Organizations, Private and Public institutions.

Visit our website: http://www.developmentaidsupport.org

We are looking worldwide for honest volunteers, colleagues, friends, institutions, partners, universities, governments, foundations, privates, publics, NGOs, donors, individuals etc. to help us to develop this new program to assist development organizations and local governments for the worth management of the social and environmental well-being of our lovely planet.

PROPOSAL - PURSUING , WATCHING AND TRACKING THE GIANT MONSTER (POVERTY) EVERYWHERE IN TIME AND SPACE

We do not need to point out anybody, any development organizations, any universities, community practices, NGOs, public and private institutions, government as Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) are applied to all people (Rich and poor) worldwide. We have ALL witnessed or been party to the failure of some Millennium Development (MDGs) Goals to achieve their assigned objectives (e.g. corruption is human trait and it must be tracked daily on the common basis). If you think you have suggestion and want to contribute  indirect, direct to the best management of the well-being of our planet, please join us in this effort.

The following  examples among others proof why we need to have eyes and ears on the ground to track all activities that could handicap the MDGs:

"The Rwandan genocide was an epic failure of the international community to take action in the face of atrocity crimes," said the U.N. Secretary General. We know more keenly than ever that genocide is not a single event, but a process that evolves over time." Noting that with "courage and political will, genocide can be prevented," Ban, however, said that the killings in Syria continue. T

he death toll is currently estimated at more than 140,000, with no sign of ending. An estimated 800,000 people, the overwhelming majority of them ethnic Tutsis, were killed in Rwanda's 1994 genocide "Our collective failure to prevent atrocities in Syria over the past three years is a shameful indictment of the international community," said Ban, also mentioning rising hatred against migrants, Muslims and the Roma community in Europe” [UN Chief Cites Syria at Rwanda Genocide Commemoration, by Naharnet Newsdesk].

The above example let think that having earlier Knowledge and information from the grounds are the world’s most important facts to address and achieve the World´s most complex Development Challenges. The challenges are If development practitioners, development organizations, NGOs, private and public institution etc. could not get the real time information, knowledge, the difficulties that they will encounter on the target ground, how can they design development intervention to tackle on real time all these phenomena of the poverty that are transforming in time and space?

Therefore, having eyes and ears everywhere to pursue and to watch poverty on the real time must be a great opportunity and success to track and to respond well to the World´s most complex Development Challenges

We are waiting for your contributions and suggestions to evaluate and design a new assistance program to support the quality insurance, the achievement and the maintenance of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

We are in evaluation and designing phase to lunch this new assistance program: "Knowledge for Development without Borders" (see proposal: http://amouzoubedi.blogspot.co.at/2014/01/knowledge-for-development-without.html
).

We are still looking for volunteers and partners who want to contribute to an initiative that bands ALL people worldwide to assist development organizations, community practices, NGOs, public and private institutions for the best management of the social and environmental well-being of our lovely planet. Your thoughts as well as your assistance are welcome

Access to money and information are not enough to reach sustainable development, the social and environmental well-being of our planet.

My research shows that there is a mass of populations in the world without access to the information and the knowledge about the benefits of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

There is a mass of populations in the world who do not know what the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) are and mean.

There is a mass of populations in the world who do not know how to put the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) into practices…

And so…..

There is a  crucial need of Global Services Support to achieve long-term Sustainable Development Goals  (SDGs) through Simple and Good Practices of the MDGs,  and we are hoping that UN, IMF, World Bank Group, NGOs, public and private institutions, governments, individuals, volunteers, private and public donations and other development organizations would join, encourage and assist us in this effort  at the appropriate time  for the support and the maintenance of  the social and environmental well-being of our lovely  planet.

We would like to provide accurate, live, real time information and knowledge worldwide on the grounds to assist  development practioners  for the better decision making and worth development intervention in real time. Therefore we are providing a complete Service Support 24x7 to the achievement, monitoring and maintenance of the MDGs worldwide.

Sustainable, worth-living integrated development

What we have Common and where we are Different

Knowledge for Development without Boarders’ initiative  is a Global Services Support  worldwide for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through the promotion of simple and good practices of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) to reach Sustainable, worth-living integrated development.

A simple action like Knowledge for Development without Borders will close temporary and on long term the lack of the access  in real time to  communication infrastructures as well as  the lack of the accessto to accurate information and knowledge   for  worth development project  and programme evaluation, decision making and  intervention as we have ears and eyes on daily basis on the grounds, wherever and worldwide. So UN, all development agencies, NGOs,  private and public institutions, local and central governments etc. must receive accurate information, knowledge and feedback in real time for better decision making and intervention.

We are providing accurate, live, real time information and knowledge  as well as Service Support worldwide 24x7 to the achievement, monitoring and maintenance of the MDGs.

We complete the ongoing efforts and work with ALL international, local development organizations, development agencies, foundations, gouvernments, private and public institutions.

We assist Development Organizations, NGOs, Foundations, local governments, Donators, Charity Organizations, private and public institutions etc. to update on real time their aid and Open databases for worth decision making and intervention as we have ears and eyes  on the daily on the grounds, wherever and worldwide.

Our Organization bands, mobilizes and engages ALL people without distinction, worldwide as one single family to the Good purposes, the achievement, the monitoring and the maintenance of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) - The social and environmental well-being of our lovely planet.

We mobilize local communities, communities’ practices, local governments, remotes areas, villages etc. to engage and to contribute more to the achievement and the maintenance of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) while not neglecting to help them to access to the minimum sociocultural infrastructures that guarantee the minimum requirement for the human existence.

We are focusing on exploring simple practical, viable  and dynamic solutions, as we have ears and eyes on daily basis about  informing, engaging, mobilizing and  working hands in hands with local people in each corner worldwide  for the achievement and the maintenance of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

We are understnading that there is a mass of populations in the world without access to information and the knowledge about the benefits the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

We are understanding that there is a mass of populations in the world who do not know what Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) are and mean.

We are dynamic as we are working hands in hands with local communities, communities’ practices, local governments and development agencies to sounding an alarm and to inform on a social and environmental issues that could handicap the achievement and the maintenance of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

We are understanding that disease, poverty, social inequity, and violence etc. do not need passports or clearance to cross borders and agencies.

We are understanding and respecting the cultures we are working with.
We are accepting what other people believe in.

For example: rain forest will disappear without intervention we will sounding the alarm by the local government and international development organizations for intervention.

There are suspicious and unofficial social or environmental activities that could affect the lives of a group of populations and the local environment we will sounding the alarm by the local government and local/international development organizations for intervention.

The Bridge in a remote area is defect and it affects the lives of the local populations we will sound the alarm by the local government and international development organizations for intervention.

The water pumps in the rural community are suffering of the human infrastructures needed for the maintenance we will sound the alarm by the local government and local/international development organizations for intervention, and  follow the access process  to the human infrastructures.

Children  are not sent to school and are held in slavery we will sound the alarm by the local government and  local/international development organizations for intervention, and  assist  in  the process of sending the children to school.

There is a group of populations who could not Keeping Warm in Winter we will sound the alarm by the local government and local/international development organizations for intervention, and follow the process for helping Keeping Warm in Winter .

And so.....

We think that if something is wrong away over there (poorest of poor people have trouble meeting basic needs) it will affect others parts of the world and societies.

We acknowledge that to provide real time tracking and monitoring for Development institutions as well as private and public  institutions is not only challenging but quite complex as well as the management, and it will need continuous struggle and fully committed individuals.

Our taskforce is we will have eyes and ears on the ground wherever worldwide. We are not alone. We are living worldwide with local governments, local communities etc. wherever. We are mobilizing them. We are listening to them and reporting their concerns. We are engaging with them within the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) frame. We are supporting and helping them in all their daily experiences in the achievement and maintenance of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

So we are contributing worldwide to the secure, reliable, and on the real time of the update of the public and private available sustainable development monitoring databases  at local and international niveau for better prevention,  quick decision making and rapid worth intervention etc…

Thus, for coordination we must  report, categorize, classify data, information and knowledge from live experience on the grounds that we believe in, that we can demonstrate, share and show live  with all  without restriction if required, and sure with the respect of private information and knowledge.

                                              Why I blog here?

I blog here  to share a  reflexion on, and a model of concept of a non-profit Organization like Knowledge for Development without Borders for pursuing, tracking, monitoring on real time the serious consequences of the poverty worldwide.

When the development issues are earlier correctly identified through a real time information and knowledge (Knowledge for development without borders), Any solutions to it should be also better carefully discussed as the implementation for any development interventions we choose will be important (time, money,  effectiveness and support).

So  to help Development Organizations, Private and Public institutions to keep ears and eyes on development issues on the ground,  for responding on real time to,  and for  the better designing and delivering  of  any development interventions.  The KNOWLEDGE FOR DEVELOPMENT WITHOUT BORDERS must be opened to anybody, any institutions without distinction and borders.

This blog proposes a reflexion on an affiliated Non-governmental Organization approach to assist development Organizations, public and private institutions in their efforts to pursue and to track on real time basis the World´s most complex Development Challenges.

KNOWLEDGE FOR DEVELOPMENT WITHOUT BORDERS

Earlier Knowledge and information from the grounds will always be the world’s most important facts to address and achieve the World´s most complex Development Challenges. If development practitioners, development organizations, NGOs, private and public institution  etc.  could not get the real time information, knowledge, the difficulties that they will encounter on the target ground, how can they design development intervention to tackle on real time all these phenomena of the poverty that are  transforming in time and space?  The challenge is that any development interventions which do not match with the socio-cultural context will fail.

Having eyes and ears everywhere to pursue and to watch poverty on the real time must be a great opportunity and success to track and to respond well to the World´s most complex Development Challenges.

A Non-governmental Organization approach like KNOWLEDGE FOR DEVELOPMENT WITHOUT BORDERS could help to have under control the monitoring of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), and to avoid in particular circumstances the later regret that "If we have known what it was happening over there, it would not being happened. We could avoid this earlier.. Poor information,  poor  or false interventions, poor investment ...

KNOWLEDGE FOR DEVELOPMENT WITHOUT BORDERS must be treated as a Non-governmental organization (NGOs) to assist Development Organizations, public and private institutions in sounding  early warning by providing real time knowledge and information on development issues that affect the achievement and the maintenance of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs)  wherever.

To watch and monitoring all over the world the achievement and the maintenance of the eight Millennium Development Goals
To encourage ALL people to band together for good purposes  (well maintenance of our planet and the well-being of all)
To verify  and track issue on a welfare state (e.g. sounding alarm that a group a population are living in survival mode, the bridge or forest will disappear  if there is no action etc. )
To provide early warning
To understand early sounding
To assess and evaluate and prevent on real time social  issues (e.g. social conflict, genocide, terrorism, hunger, nature pollution, climate change etc...)
